No US support for insurgents

From Iraq it is reported in Danish media that the Americans have actually started arming Sunni Muslim insurgents that reportedly hate Al-Qaeda in Iraq more than the occupying power.

But this is just another propaganda lie coming from the big US propaganda machinery. The truth is that the US is arming the so-called Salvation Councils which have been established by the Americans in central Iraq as a tool in the fight against the strong armed resistance movement in the area. These councils consist of Sunni Muslim collaborators and constitute an infinitesimal number.

The main purpose with the story about US support for “Sunni Muslim resistance against Al-Qaeda” is partly to confuse the Sunni Muslims so they weaken their armed resistance against the nearly defeated occupying power and instead start fighting Al-Qaeda which is actually recognised by the Iraqi Resistance as a real resistance organisation, and partly to make the impression that it is Al-Qaeda, and not the occupation, which is the real problem for the Iraqis.

But the Iraqi people are clever than that.
