Maximum penalty to Danish Prime Minister

By Carsten Kofoed, Free Iraq Blog of Denmark, March 21, 2007

Taha Yassin Ramadan, Vice President in the only legitimate Iraqi government, the one that the coalition toppled and replaced with a collaborationist regime by an “election” held under its full control, was hanged on the four year anniversary of the aggression that violated the UN Charter. A “court of appeal” had exceptionally changed the lifetime sentence to death penalty.

By its illegitimate “court”, the occupying power is hanging the legitimate leaders of Iraq because they are refusing to submit to the occupation and injustice. The death sentence to 148 Shiites for trying to kill the martyr President Saddam Hussein in 1982 is the fig leaf for these political murders while the actions of Bush, Blair and Fogh Rasmussen (Danish Prime Minister, translator’s note) have caused the death of more than 665,000 Iraqis.

Recently, International Criminal Court prosecutor, Luis Moreno-Ocampo, stated that Bush and Blair could be prosecuted if Iraq signs up to the International Criminal Court. However, this is unlikely to happen as long as there is a US-backed quisling regime in place in Baghdad. But after the occupation, things will be different, also for Danish war criminals.

Fogh Rasmussen must be prosecuted, and no punishment will be too hard.
